Common Questions
What's a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)? An LMN is a document issued by a licensed healthcare provider outlining the medical reasons why a service is necessary for your health. It confirms that the expense is needed to cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent a medical condition.
Why is an LMN required? Pilates is HSA/FSA-eligible only when it's deemed medically necessary. An LMN ensures compliance with HSA/FSA guidelines and substantiates your expense.
How do I know if I qualify? Eligibility depends on your health condition and the sessions you'd like to use your funds toward. A licensed provider will review your evaluation survey to determine if you qualify for an LMN.
